Dr. Siao joined PharmTak as Medical Advisor with 20 years of experience in clinical and academic medicine and medical administration. After completing his undergraduate and medical school education with honors at Stanford University, Dr. Siao completed his Family Medicine Residency at the Stanford-affiliated program at San Jose Medical Center. He subsequently joined the San Jose Medical Group as a physician in the Family Medicine department. In addition to his busy clinical practice, Dr. Siao has held the following administrative positions: Family Medicine Department Chairman, San Jose Medical Group Assistant Medical Director, and Board Member. In 2002, Dr. Siao started his own medical corporation, where he has a growing group practice with a medical aesthetics practice, on-site pharmacy, and laboratory collection center.

Dr. Kiang is one of the co-founders of PharmTak. He is also the founder and President of PHARMout Laboratories, Inc. He established PHARMout Labs in 1995, providing GLP bio-analytical services to Roche and other San Francisco Bay Area companies. The company is now nationally known and well-established in services in the cGMP analytical method development and stability testing area. Dr. Kiang obtained his M.S. from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana and his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of New Orleans. He worked for Syntex/Roche Bioscience for 15 years as the Group Manager in the Department of Bioanalysis.

Dr. Kiang specializes in biological sample purification using solid phase extraction techniques and ultra-sensitive detection using laser induced fluorescence detection (LIFD), fluorescence derivatization, chemiluminescence (CL), electrochemical detection (ED), capillary and microbore HPLC, and HPLC-RIA. He is also the expert in the areas of solid phase extraction; HPLC with FD, UV, and ECD; GC with FID, ECD, and NPD; RIA and HPLC-RIA; GC-MS; and LC-MS. Dr. Kiang will help PharmTak in directing its operations with his valuable small business experience. Also, he will collaborate and provide analytical and bio-analytical services to PharmTak when necessary.

Dr. Blais is currently the Founder and President of KABS Laboratories, Inc. He established ActiLab Pharma in 1996 and KABS Labs in 1997. KABS Labs has grown from 5 scientists in 1997 to a staff of more than 80 in less than 9 years. Dr. Blais is not only an experienced scientist in University teaching and analytical R&D, but also has a great sense of business development. Under his guidance, KABS Labs has earned a great reputation in analytical method development, QC and stability testing, cGMP compliance and inspection, as well as pilot scale API manufacturing.

Dr. Blais obtained his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from McGill University in Montréal, Québec. He will serve as a Scientific Advisor for PharmTak and his company will provide contract services to PharmTak in analytical chemistry. This includes method development, method validation, stability testing, and regulatory document preparation.
